Online KA! Connections classes will begin May 26 at 2 pm.
These online zoom classes are led by our Executive Director, Shawna Linck, a certified Yoga Instructor, and are designed to be a way for our students and families to connect with each other, and get our bodies, minds, and spirits in a healthy space. We plan to work together to strengthen our ability to deal with the many changes that we are facing in our society right now. We will explore energy activating exercises from Kundalini Yoga, alignment based hatha yoga, pranayama (breathing exercises), Tai Chi, Qi Gong, sound vibration technology, moving meditations and more. Each class period will also allow time for guided discussions with Shawna and give us all a chance to check in with each other on a regular basis.
Classes are open to KA students and their friends and families (that means parents are welcome to join us too!) and are beneficial for people of all ages. You will need a yoga mat or carpeted area to work in, water, and comfortable clothes that you can move in. To access the Zoom class you will need access to a computer or laptop which has speakers, a microphone and a video camera. You can also access Zoom from your mobile phone or tablet.
KA! Connections classes will be approximately one hour long, and will be held Tuesdays at 2 pm, Thursdays at 10 am, and occasional Sundays at 2 pm. There is no charge to join these classes. You may register by clicking the button below
Once you have registered, you will receive a weekly email on Mondays giving you a brief synopsis of what we will be covering in each of the scheduled classes that week, and an individual link for each class period. You do not have to attend all the classes each week, just join when you are able!
