COVID-19 Update from KidsAlive!

Based on the rapidly changing events with the coronavirus situation in our area and the CDC's recent recommendations that large gatherings of 50 or more should be cancelled for at least 8 weeks, KidsAlive! has decided to make the following immediate changes to our Spring and early Summer Schedule:

~ The Spring production of Still Life with Iris at Special Care has been postponed.  Rehearsals will not continue until further notice.  We will keep a close watch on the situation and hope to be able to schedule the remainder of rehearsals and performances with the same cast at a later date.

~  Auditions for Into the Woods will be handled via video submissions.  All performers signed up to audition will receive audition materials via email by Sunday March 22, and be given instructions on how to submit their videos.  We will accept additional registrations to audition through Friday March 27.

~ The "Taste of Summer" open house and workshop series on May 9 in our new studios located at 320 SW 25th, will be postponed until further notice.

~ Auditions for Eurydice are temporarily postponed until further notice.  Enrollment remains open.

~ Auditions for Moana, Jr. have been postponed until further notice.  Enrollment is still open

~ Enrollment options for all Summer productions and "The Taste of Summer" will remain open online, so please feel free to register for programs that you are interested in.  We will not collect tuition deposits until the coronavirus crisis has stabilized and it appears safe to continue. We will be in touch with all registered families to keep them updated of future plans and re-scheduled dates as they are finalized.

KidsAlive! routinely works with a population who are immuno-compromised and we are committed to doing our part to help everyone in our KA! community stay safe and well.   We feel strongly that part of our mission is to bring hope and connection to the world, so we are currently actively searching for fun and innovative ways to maintain the connections between our KA! students and families during our time apart!  Stay tuned for more information on how your family can participate, and as always, please feel free to reach out to us by email or phone with any questions or concerns.

Wishing you the best,

Shawna Linck, Executive Director
