The KA! Community Connections programs partners our most experienced young performers with Adult performers in our community to enrich, inspire, and strengthen skills and passion for the performing arts. KA!'s production of Matilda will feature both an adult and a teen cast of leads in the adult roles, coupled with 2 different children's casts of school children, giving both sets of performers an opportunity to share ideas and partner in the creative process of character development of these fun-filled roles!
Inspired by the twisted genius of Roald Dahl, this Tony Award-winning musical revels in the anarchy of childhood, the power of imagination and the inspiring story of a girl who dreams of a better life. With book by Dennis Kelly and original songs by Tim Minchin, Matilda had won 47 international awards and continues to thrill sold-out audiences of all ages around the world.
